Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations. The role centers on standardizing workflows, optimizing processes, and supporting growth through strategic leadership and M&A integration.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license with CPCU/CIC strongly preferred and has 5–7+ years of operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency. Remote work with possible hybrid onsite needs is offered.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of commercial lines operational leadership in a large insurance brokerage or agency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with Divisional and Regional Leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Standardize workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity, reduce variation, and enhance client outcomes.
• Support merger and acquisition initiatives through operational assessments and integration planning.
• Partner with producers, operations, and leadership to drive engagement and change adoption.
• Promote effective utilization of EPIC, workflows, and reporting tools.
• Analyze metrics and drive improvements in service and performance.
• Lead workforce planning and capacity modeling to support growth.
• Champion IOA values in all activities.
