Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a senior bioanalytical leader to guide strategy across small and large molecules, partnering with Clinical, Regulatory and Quality. You will manage CROs, shape a future internal lab, and drive GLP/GCP compliance while mentoring a team to advance ocular therapeutics.

Role requires high-level expertise in LC-MS/MS and ligand-binding platforms, plus strong regulatory and budgeting experience. Location is US-based with leadership responsibilities across programs.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, immunology or a related discipline with 10+ years of industry experience; or M.S. with 14+; or B.S. with 16+.
• Demonstrated bioanalytical leadership in pharmaceutical or biotechnology development spanning small molecules and biologics, with hands-on or oversight expertise across LC-MS/MS and ligand-binding platforms.
• Track record in regulated bioanalysis (GLP) supporting IND/NDA/BLA submissions, including authorship of regulatory content.
• Extensive experience managing bioanalytical CROs as sponsor-side lead, ensuring data quality and defensibility.

Responsibilities

• Bioanalytical strategy and program support across modalities and matrices.
• Own CRO governance: vendor selection, budgets, timelines and data oversight.
• Lead the design and execution of any internal non-GLP laboratory build and staffing.
• Ensure GLP/GCP compliance, data integrity and regulatory readiness across programs.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing scientific team.
