Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead the US Air Force account within the Strategic Customer Engagement team. You will drive an end-to-end lifecycle, align NGMS divisions, and build senior relationships with AF decision makers.

This role requires balancing strategic pursuit with disciplined delivery and a focus on win rates. You will report to the Senior Director, Strategic Customer Engagement and collaborate across Capture, BU leaders, and enterprise functions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in defense BD/capture, or a Master’s with 8+ years.
• 5+ years leading large, multi-disciplinary teams to win deals.
• Deep knowledge of DoD/USAF acquisition and/or operational processes.
• Exceptional executive communication; experience briefing senior government officials.

Responsibilities

• Lead US Air Force account as primary BD/capture executive; meet growth targets.
• Orchestrate end-to-end lifecycle from shaping to post-award stewardship.
• Integrate NGMS divisions to present a unified value proposition.
• Develop senior relationships across AF and related decision makers.
• Coordinate with Capture Leadership to shape strategies and price-to-win.
