Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Senior Manager, Technology Operations to shape the next generation of AI-powered commerce.

This hands-on role combines strategy, product, partnerships, data, and execution to identify opportunities, size them, and drive initiatives from concept to launch. You will work across Business, Product, Engineering, Data, and external partners to connect AI developments with Walmart’s commerce capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering/Business with 5 years of PM/ops experience.
• Alternative: 7 years of PM/ops experience plus 2 years supervisory experience.
• Master’s degree with 4 years PM/ops experience; WCAG accessibility knowledge is valued.

Responsibilities

• Define business strategies for emerging AI and agentic commerce opportunities, including where Walmart should participate, differentiate, and invest.
• Use data and analytics to size opportunities, diagnose performance, build business cases, and measure impact.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and business models to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
• Lead initiatives end-to-end, from opportunity assessment and strategy through experimentation, launch, measurement, and scale.
• Work with leading technology platforms to evaluate and develop new partnerships, business models, and customer experiences.
• Develop strategies across emerging areas such as AI-driven discovery, agentic commerce, distribution, and monetization.
• Translate strategic opportunities into clear priorities, operating plans, and cross-functional roadmaps.
• Drive alignment and execution across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Marketing, and other teams.
