Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Director, AI Experience Design Lead to own how Pfizer’s AI looks, sounds, and behaves, and to build and lead the design team that ships it. This role combines hands-on design delivery with strategic leadership across AI platforms and enterprise LLM integrations.

The successful candidate will ship production design work, establish design standards as code, and drive adoption to meet KPIs such as trust and task success, while ensuring WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility and cross‑team

Qualifications

8+ years delivering complex digital products in enterprise settings.
Deep expertise in AI-first interaction patterns at scale.
Proven ability to ship design standards as code and own design systems.

Responsibilities

Own Pfizer's AI-first design system across human and agent surfaces.
Deliver design standards as code into the engineering build pipeline.
Track adoption, pattern usage, and compliance with accessibility in design.
Lead end-to-end design delivery for high-impact initiatives.
Collaborate with AI, Data, Product, and Engineering teams on LLM-enabled products.
Mentor and grow a high-performing team of experience designers.
