Pfizer is seeking a Director, AI Experience Design Lead to own Pfizer’s AI-first design system across human and agent surfaces. You will ship design standards as code, guide brand-consistent experiences, and drive measurable adoption.

Qualifications

Must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of progressive experience in Experience Design, UX, or Product Design, in enterprise or matrixed environments.
5+ years of direct people management experience, including hiring and leading design teams.
Deep expertise in AI-driven experience design, including Agentic AI workflows and Conversational UX.

Responsibilities

Own Pfizer’s AI-first design system across human and agent surfaces.
Deliver design standards as code into the engineering build pipeline.
Lead adoption tracking and manage standards drift across platforms.
Define assistant behaviors, transparency cues, and safety guardrails in AI experiences.
Partner with Product, AI, Data, and Engineering teams to co-own AI-enabled products.
