Pfizer seeks a Director, AI Experience Design Lead to own Pfizer's AI-first design system across human and agent surfaces. You will build and lead a design team delivering production-grade design standards, tokens, and patterns integrated into MCP and build pipelines, ensuring consistency and compliance across surfaces.

You will mentor a team, drive adoption, and partner with AI, Data, Product, and Engineering to ship trusted, scalable AI experiences in a highly regulated enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of progressive experience in Experience Design, UX, or Product Design.
• 5+ years of direct people management experience including hiring, developing, and leading design teams.
• Working fluency with front-end development principles, APIs, and design-token pipelines.
• Experience owning and evolving design systems and AI-first interaction patterns at scale.
• Deep expertise in AI-driven experience design, including Agentic AI workflows and Conversational UX (chat/voice).
• Advanced understanding of AI system behavior, transparency cues, and responsible AI interaction models.
• Exceptional design judgment and craft excellence with end-to-end production design ability.
• Executive communication and storytelling skills for senior leadership.

Responsabilités

• Own AI design system across human and agent surfaces; ensure consistency across Pfizer's AI surfaces.
• Deliver design standards as code; ensure default patterns are compliant and WCAG accessibility built in.
• Track adoption in code and retire ineffective patterns.
• Connect design outcomes to KPIs like adoption, task success, trust, time-to-resolution.
• Lead by example; ship new AI tools and showcase craft at scale.
• Independently own end-to-end design for high-impact initiatives, from framing to prototypes.
• Act as design authority for Agentic AI experiences and Conversational UX end-to-end.
