This senior IC role requires leadership in problem framing, rapid prototyping, and production-ready design, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Data and AI partners.

The ideal candidate blends exceptional design craft with technical fluency in Large Language Model APIs and agent frameworks, focusing on usable, accessible, and safe AI

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive UX design experience or 5+ with a Master’s or 1+ with a PhD
• Strong collaboration with Engineering throughout implementation
• Hands-on experience prototyping real agent behavior with LLMs
• Experience creating reusable interaction patterns and design frameworks
• Conversational UX experience including dialog flows and fallback patterns
• Experience designing agentic AI workflows with human-in-the-loop controls
• Proven ability to deliver complex design projects under tight deadlines
• Able to communicate design decisions to senior leadership and partners

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of complex AI-enabled products and workflows from problem framing to implementation.
• Design AI experiences across chat, voice, and multimodal interactions with safe fallback behaviors.
• Prototype realistic system behavior using LLM APIs and agent frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape scope and resolve implementation challenges.
• Deliver high-quality interaction, visual, and conversation design across platforms.
• Turn ideas into testable concepts, proofs of concept, and production-ready designs.
• Contribute reusable interaction patterns and frameworks to multiple products and platforms.
• Define experience metrics and evaluate adoption, trust, and usability.
