Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Technology Support Director to lead the Tech Control Transformation in its Consumer & Community Bank Tech team.

You will drive operational stability, production performance, and AI-enabled control modernization across full-stack technologies, shaping governance, automation, and evidence capture. You will set strategic direction, partner with engineering, operations, and control teams, and drive a productized controls operating model with guardrails and auditability

Qualifications

7+ years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining information technology services.
Experience leading enterprise AI-enabled production workflows with validation practices and data sensitivity awareness.
Ability to define review/approval, escalation, and accountability for AI-assisted recommendations while preserving security and auditability.
Experience managing applications or infrastructure in large-scale environments, on-premises and in the cloud.
Proficient in observability and monitoring tools and techniques.
Experience executing ITIL-aligned processes within enterprise environments.
Demonstrated ability to drive control modernization using automation-first approaches.

Responsibilities

Directly manage multiple areas to enable end-to-end service delivery for business operations of the firm.
Lead the transformation to a productized control operating model with clear intake, prioritization, delivery, validation, and durable closure mechanics across support processes.
Redesign technology controls for an AI-enabled environment with guardrails and accountability for agent actions.
Set reuse-first expectations for enterprise AI adoption to accelerate incident insights and operational reporting.
Establish governance standards for AI-assisted workflows ensuring traceability and auditability.
Develop and oversee policies to ensure operational stability and oversee incident, problem, and change management.
Modernize evidence, traceability, and auditability through controls-as-code and automated evidence capture.
Develop and oversee monitoring of production environments and evolve observability patterns.
