Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Tech Risk & Controls Lead to identify and mitigate technology risk, ensuring regulatory compliance and guiding AI risk governance. You will partner with Product Owners, Control Managers, and Regulators to build an auditable risk posture and drive innovative risk solutions.

This role requires senior-level expertise across risk frameworks, data security, and governance, with a focus on AI-enabled controls and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or related field with regulatory focus.
• Technical proficiency in AI risk governance and securing AI-enabled platforms.
• Familiarity with risk frameworks, standards, and financial regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of data security, risk assessment, reporting, control design and governance.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to support risk and controls workflows.
• Ability to validate AI-assisted risk summaries and ensure auditability.
• Ability to influence executive decision-making and translate tech insights to business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify, communicate, and manage technology risk; focus on root cause analysis and remediation.
• Develop relationships with LOB technologists, assessments teams, and data officers to enable cross-functional collaboration.
• Leverage enterprise AI to accelerate risk evidence synthesis and draft executive reports, ensuring data sensitivity handling.
• Execute control reporting and governance, providing senior-management insights into effectiveness.
• Promote AI-assisted, reusable control testing and issue-management, with human review for auditability.
• Continuously monitor control effectiveness, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements to strengthen compliance.
