Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Director to lead AI‑driven value creation engagements within the CIO domain for PE‑backed portfolio companies. You will own scope, workplan, client relationships, and financial outcomes end‑to‑end as the senior accountable leader on the engagement.

The role requires hands‑on operating experience inside CIO organizations, a track record of IT transformations, and the ability to translate IT complexity into clear financial impact.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in IT strategy, enterprise architecture, or technology transformation.
• Hands-on operator experience within CIO organizations or PE-backed settings.
• Proven ability to deliver multi-workstream IT transformations with measurable outcomes.
• Experience working with private equity firms or PE-backed portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Engagement Leadership & Client Ownership: establish engagement lifecycle, lead cross-functional teams, and manage executive communications.
• AI Strategy, Diligence & Value Creation: identify AI use cases, size value potential, and develop investment-grade business cases.
• Transformation Execution & Governance: establish governance, KPI frameworks, and vendor management across timelines and budgets.
• Practice Contribution: support business development and mentor Senior Associates and Analysts.
