Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director in the PEPI Technology Services AI team (CIO Domain) to independently lead AI‑driven value creation engagements across the private equity lifecycle. You will own scope, workplans, client relationships, and financial outcomes end‑to‑end as the senior accountable leader on the engagement.

You will bring hands‑on operating experience in CIO environments, oversee vendor relationships, and guide enterprise tech programs to rapid, credible impact within PE

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in IT strategy, enterprise architecture, IT operations, or technology transformation with hands-on operator experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑stream IT transformation programs with measurable outcomes.
• Experience working with private equity or PE-backed portfolio companies and deal timelines.
• Proven ability to manage senior client relationships at CIO/CFO/CEO level and translate IT complexity into financial impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-driven value creation engagements across the PE lifecycle for CIO domain engagements.
• Manage engagement scope, workplans, client relationships, and financial outcomes end-to-end.
• Oversee cross-functional teams spanning architecture, infrastructure, security, data, and IT operations.
• Drive executive workshops and present financial/operational narratives to PE audiences.
• Develop AI operating models and transformation roadmaps with clear targets and milestones.
• Establish governance, KPI frameworks, and value tracking tied to IT metrics.
