Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Director for the PEPI Technology Services AI team (CIO Domain) to lead AI‑driven value creation engagements across the PE lifecycle. You will own scope, client relationships, and financial outcomes end‑to‑end as the senior engagement lead.

You bring hands‑on operating CIO experience, run IT transformations, and manage vendors and AI deployments. You will translate IT programs into rapid, credible impact within PE holding periods.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in IT strategy, enterprise architecture, IT operations, or technology transformation.
• Proven track record leading multi‑workstream IT transformation programs with measurable outcomes.
• Experience with CIO organizations and PE‑backed portfolio companies.
• Proven ability to manage senior client relationships at CIO/CFO/CEO levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI‑driven value creation engagements across the private equity lifecycle in the CIO domain.
• Define and execute AI strategy, governance, and transformation roadmaps with financial targets.
• Manage cross‑functional engagement teams spanning architecture, security, data, and IT operations.
• Mentor Associates and contribute to Technology Services methodologies.
