Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in New York seeks a Director in its PEPI Technology Services AI team to lead AI-driven value creation engagements across private equity portfolio CIO organizations. You will own scope, workplan, client relationships, and financial outcomes end-to-end, serving as the senior accountable leader on the engagement.

The role requires hands-on IT transformation experience, managing vendors and AI deployments, with ability to translate operating know‑how into rapid, credible impact

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in IT strategy, enterprise architecture, or technology transformation.
• Hands-on operator experience inside or alongside CIO organizations.
• Experience with PE-backed firms, value creation plans, and deal timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-driven value creation engagements across the PE lifecycle.
• Manage cross-functional engagement teams across IT domains (architecture, infrastructure, security, data, IT operations).
• Develop AI-enabled operating models and roadmaps with financial targets and accountability structures.
• Establish program governance, KPI frameworks, and value tracking tied to IT metrics.
