Amgen is seeking a Director to lead AI-enabled field initiatives, partnering across Field Leadership, Commercial, BAI, Digital, Data, and Technology to advance Generative AI, Agentic AI, analytics, automation, and digital capabilities that improve field effectiveness and decision-making.

This role requires 2-3 days onsite in Thousand Oaks, CA, and a Doctorate/Master’s/Bachelor’s with 4–10 years of analytics leadership experience.

Qualifications

Doctorate or Masters or Bachelor’s degree with extensive analytics/AI leadership experience in commercial settings.
4+ years managing people or leading teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.

Responsibilities

Define and lead strategic roadmaps for AI-enabled field initiatives, aligning with cross-functional stakeholders.
Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration to deliver AI, analytics, and automation solutions in field operations.
Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and value realization to Field Leadership and Commercial stakeholders.
Drive adoption of AI-enabled capabilities by embedding into field workflows and enabling enablement programs.
Lead change management and continuous improvement with feedback loops and responsible AI practices.
