The candidate will drive ML program design, governance, and responsible AI practices while building high-performing teams and measurable portfolio outcomes.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with substantial leadership experience in AI/ML for scientific research.
• Proven track record in setting technical strategy for AI/ML in regulated environments.
• Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams and programs.

Responsibilities

• Set AI and ML strategy and roadmap aligned to R&D priorities.
• Lead design, validation, and deployment of ML and foundation-model solutions.
• Establish scalable ML architectures and reusable end-to-end workflows.
• Drive MLOps, data platform strategy, and governance across portfolios.
• Build and mentor high-performing AI engineering teams.
