Job summary

TotalEnergies North American power business seeks a senior leader to design, build, and manage a new remote-operations control center for 24/7 real-time power generation assets, including wind, solar, BESS, and gas. You will drive onboarding, credentialing, and performance metrics while enforcing a high standard of safety and reliability.

Based in Austin, TX, you will collaborate with Operations, Asset Management, Trading, and Engineering to optimize dispatch, improve KPIs, and ensure regulatory

Qualifications

7+ years in power generation operations, utilities, or control center environments.
Proven leadership in building 24/7 control room operations.

Responsibilities

Define the control room layout, hardware needs, and cybersecurity posture.
Oversee SCADA/EMS/AGC integration and vendor management.
Establish SOPs for emergencies, curtailment, and weather events.
Lead 24/7 shift-rotation organization and training programs.
Ensure regulatory and NERC/FERC compliance across operations.
Coordinate with trading, field ops, and leadership for incidents.
