Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Director, Remote Operations Control Center (ROCC) to lead a 24x7 team overseeing a ~12GW fleet of solar, wind, and BESS assets across North America. The role reports to the Director of Asset Optimization and focuses on safe, efficient, compliant operations.

You will drive control testing, SCADA initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with Field Service, Engineering, and IT to optimize performance and asset value. Domestic travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years in Real-Time Operations within electricity or thermal sectors
• Minimum of five (5) years in people management
• Experience leading cross-functional projects
• Working knowledge of power system operations including voltage control and automatic generation control
• Familiarity with safety concepts such as LOTO

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the 24x7 Remote Operations team
• Lead interactions with Field Service, Performance/Reliability, and Engineering
• Lead control testing and SCADA initiatives with engineering/IT
• Coordinate with real-time market desk to optimize asset financial performance
• Collaborate with maintenance and compliance teams to ensure safety and performance
