Job summary

TotalEnergies Integrated Power USA is building a new, remote-operations control center in Austin to monitor and optimize 24/7 utility-scale wind, solar, BESS, and gas assets. You will lead the design, buildout, startup, and ongoing management, driving KPIs and regulatory compliance while coordinating cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in power operations, with ERCOT/NERC familiarity, leadership experience, and a strong grasp of SCADA, EMS, and cyber security considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience in power generation operations, utilities, or control center environments.
• Knowledge of ERCOT operating requirements, protocols, and market structures.
• Experience monitoring or operating utility-scale wind and solar assets.

Responsibilities

• Define the physical layout, hardware requirements, and cybersecurity posture for the mission-critical control room.
• Evaluate, procure, and integrate SCADA, EMS, and AGC platforms.
• Draft SOPs for emergency response, curtailment management, weather anomalies, and outages.
