Devereux Massachusetts in Rutland, MA is seeking Direct Support/Care Professionals to support youth with complex needs in a high-growth environment.

You will supervise and protect youth, implement therapeutic interventions, and promote daily living skills while documenting progress and incidents. The role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and an additional $250 bonus for MAPS certification, with flexible schedules and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• MAPS certification required or obtainable within 6 months of employment.

Responsabilités

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Provide direct supervision to ensure safety and security of all youth.
• Deliver and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors and providing positive reinforcement.
• Teach and assist with Activities of Daily Living Skills.
• Complete required documentation such as progress notes and incident reports.
