Devereux Massachusetts in Rutland, MA is hiring a Direct Support/Care Professional. The role focuses on caring for youth with complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs, including ASD. Share responsibility for safety, supervision, and therapeutic interventions with a dedicated team.

The job offers a sign-on bonus of $1000 for full-time, MAPS certification bonus of $250, and a comprehensive benefits program. Multiple schedules available.

Formación

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• MAPS certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Attend a 2-week paid orientation in Rutland, MA, Monday–Friday, 8AM–4PM.

Responsabilidades

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Ensure safety and security of all youth by providing direct supervision.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate environment.
• Engage with youth to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors.
• Teach Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills and support independence.
• Complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports.
