Devereux Massachusetts is seeking a Direct Support/Care Professional to support youth with diverse behavioral needs in Rutland, MA. The role emphasizes safety, supervision, and compassionate care in a therapeutic setting.

You will engage with youth, reinforce positive behavior, teach ADL skills, and document progress. MAPS certification is required within 6 months and orientation is a 2-week paid program for external candidates. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Formación

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Active driver’s license required.
• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work or Special Education preferred.
• MAPS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment for Group Home setting.
• Able to attend a 2 week paid orientation, Mon–Fri, 8AM–4PM for external candidates.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise youth safely and provide direct care as assigned.
• Provide therapeutic interventions in a compassionate, safe environment.
• Engage youth to teach and reinforce positive behaviors.
• Teach Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills.
• Complete required documentation including progress notes and incident reports.
• Contribute to treatment plans within the team.
