Devereux Massachusetts is seeking a Direct Support/Care Professional to work with boys aged 6 to 17 in Rutland, MA, providing supervision, safety, and compassionate therapeutic support. The role includes teaching ADL skills and documenting progress while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Eligible candidates must be 21+, hold a valid driver's license, and have a high school diploma or GED; MAPS certification is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• MAPS certification required or obtainable within 6 months of employment.
• Experience with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorders and/or autism preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct supervision to youth and ensure safety.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions in a compassionate, safe environment.
• Engage with youth in a meaningful way and reinforce positive behaviors.
• Teach Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills.
• Complete required documentation such as progress notes and incident reports.
