Job summary

Prairie Community Services in Minnesota is seeking a Direct Support Provider to train and assist individuals in daily living activities, including personal care, medication administration, community involvement, money management, meals, laundry and charting.

This part-time, on-site role starts at $17.00–$18.00 per hour with opportunity to grow, and comes with benefits such as PTO, health coverage, an HSA contribution, life insurance, retirement options, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age or as dictated by licensure.
• Must pass DHS background clearance.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must read, write, communicate and understand the English language while conducting company business.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and assistance to individuals with daily living activities.
• Perform medication administration as required.
• Engage in community activities and money management tasks.
• Prepare meals, assist with laundry and daily chores, and maintain daily charting.
