Whole Life is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide person-centered care to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Bridgeport, CT. You will support daily living activities, promote independence, and foster community participation.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, medications, documentation, and ensuring a safe home environment while collaborating with families and care teams.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• Must have valid driver's license and ID documents.
• Ability to pass background, driving, and abuse registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal prep).
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment (light housekeeping, laundry).
• Engage clients in social activities and community outings to promote independence.
• Use mobility equipment with proper technique.
• Document daily activities, observations, and incidents accurately.
