Devereux New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Bridgeton, NJ. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to help individuals with daily living skills, safety, and community participation.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and team-oriented care for individuals.
• Valid non-provisional driver’s license required.
• Be 18 years of age or older and able to attend orientation.
• Commitment to safety and daily living support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach individuals in daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, shopping).
• Plan and document programs to meet social, emotional, physical and personal needs.
• Coordinate community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings.
• Schedule and transport individuals to and from the day program.
