Devereux New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals in our day program. This role involves safety, daily living coaching, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive work environment.

Starting compensation is $20.42 per hour with increases based on education and experience. Shifts include 2nd and 3rd, and benefits start on day one. Join a values-driven organization committed to Servant Leadership and caring for others.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals are safe and healthy while attending the day program.
• Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in daily living skills (food prep, cooking, cleaning, shopping).
• Supervise planning, implementation and documentation of programs meeting social, emotional, physical and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings.
• Schedule and transport individuals to and from the day program.
