Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Bridgeton, NJ, is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join a multidisciplinary team. You will help individuals with daily living skills, safety, and goal achievement in a day program setting.

Starting pay is $20.42 per hour, with increases based on education and experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm. Benefits begin after 30 days of employment and include health coverage and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid non-provisional driver’s license required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in daily living skills (food prep, cooking, cleaning, shopping).
• Supervise the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs addressing social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings.
• Schedule and transport individuals to and from the day program.
