Job summary

Center for Disability Services, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional II - Residential to join our team in the Capital Region. Duties include participating in planning and care teams, promoting independence in daily living activities, and honoring each person’s choices and dignity.

A NYS driver’s license is required and training opportunities are available. Compensation ranges from $20.50 to $24.14 per hour with benefits such as health, dental, vision, retirement matching, and PTO.

Qualifications

• NYS Driver's License is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• One (1) year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the person’s planning, implementation, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist, promote, and provide independence in daily treatment, care, and services.
• Respect the person’s choices, lifestyle, and dignity to take informed risks.
• Help implement personalized habilitation services outlined in each person’s care plan.
