Job summary

Center for Disability Services, Inc. in the Capital Region is seeking a Direct Support Professional II for Residential Services.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support daily treatment, care and independent living for those we support, respecting choices and dignity. Requirements include a NYS Driver's License, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 18 years old with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• NYS Driver's License required.
• Minimum 1 year related experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the person’s planning, implementation, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist, promote, and provide independence in daily treatment, care, and services.
• Help implement personalized habilitation services outlined in the care plan.
• Assist in acquiring skills including basic activities of daily living, self-care and household management.

Rate of pay is commensurate on experience, Residential Program acuity, shift differentials and completion of additional trainings.

Compensation Range:

$20.50 - $24.14
