Job summary

Center for Disability Services, Inc. in upstate New York is seeking a Direct Support Professional II for Residential Services across the Capital Region. This role offers flexible FT, PT and Per Diem options in a 24/7 environment, with shift differentials and additional trainings.

Compensation ranges from $20.50 to $24.14 per hour, dependent on experience and program acuity. Requirements include a NYS driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and being at least 18 with the ability to

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the person’s planning, implementation, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assisting, promoting, and providing independence in daily treatment, care, and services.
• Help implement personalized habilitation services per the care plan.
• Assist in acquisition of skills, including activities of daily living and household management.

Responsibilities:

• Help implement personalized habilitation services, which are outlined in their personalized care plan
• Assist in acquisition of skills, including basic activities of daily living, self-care and household management for the people we support

Requirements:

• NYS Driver's License
• High School diploma or equivalent
• One (1) Year Of Related Experience Preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to apply for this position
