Job summary

Center for Disability Services, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional II for Residential Services in the Capital Region. The role offers flexible scheduling (FT/PT/Per Diem) in a 24/7 environment with competitive pay commensurate with experience and program acuity.

Responsibilities include planning involvement, care, and habilitation support for individuals with disabilities. Required NYS Driver's License and a high school diploma or equivalent; 18+ and able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• NYS Driver's License required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the person’s planning, implementation, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assisting, promoting, and providing independence in daily treatment, care, and services while respecting choices and dignity.
• Help implement personalized habilitation services, outlined in the personalized care plan.
• Assist in acquisition of skills, including basic activities of daily living, self-care and household management.

Rate of pay is commensurate on experience, Residential Program acuity, shift differentials and completion of additional trainings.

Compensation Range:

$20.50 - $24.14
