Center for Disability Services, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional II for Residential Services in the Capital Region of New York. This role supports individuals in planning, daily care, and habilitation services, promoting independence and informed risk-taking in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications include a NYS driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of related experience preferred. Compensation is $20.50–$24.14 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a member of the person’s planning, implementation, and interdisciplinary teams
• Assisting, promoting, and providing independence in the daily treatment, care, and services of the people we support. Respect the person’s choices, lifestyle, and their dignity to take informed risks
• Help implement personalized habilitation services, which are outlined in their personalized care plan
• Assist in acquisition of skills, including basic activities of daily living, self-care and household management for the people we support

Rate of pay is commensurate on experience, Residential Program acuity, shift differentials and completion of additional trainings.
