Job summary

The Center for Disability Services is hiring a Direct Support Professional II for residential services in the Capital Region of New York. This role supports individuals in planning, implementing, and promoting independence within a 24/7 environment.

You will assist with daily living activities, respect personal choices, and work with an interdisciplinary team to carry out personalized care plans. Positions offer diverse shifts, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires NYS Driver's License and high school (or equivalent) education.
• Experience preferred: 1 year in related field.
• May require lifting 50 pounds and ability to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist, promote, and provide independence in daily treatment and services.
• Support person-centered care plans with respect for choices and dignity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement habilitation services.
• Help individuals acquire daily living and household skills.
