Job summary

OneWell Health Care in Kent, OH seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with IDD and Autism in daily living, health and safety, and community inclusion in home and community settings. You will work under supervision to support skill development and participation in community activities.

The role requires documenting observations, implementing ISPs, and collaborating with families and care teams while following Ohio DODD, Medicaid, and agency policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional Human Services coursework preferred.
• Experience in caregiving, healthcare, or community-based services is a plus.
• Ability to document services accurately and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support to individuals with IDD and Autism.
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
• Implement ISPs and behavior support strategies.
• Maintain health and safety, and complete required documentation.
