Job summary

OneWell Health Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate, person-centered care for individuals with IDD and Autism in home and community settings in Ohio. The role emphasizes independence, safety, and dignity while delivering services under ISPs and regulatory guidelines.

The position requires completing documentation, collaborating with families, and participating in training to ensure high-quality support aligned with agency standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred: Coursework or degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Healthcare, or related field.
• Experience preferred: with IDD, caregiving, healthcare, behavioral support, or community-based services.
• Entry-level candidates may be considered with required training and demonstrated ability to provide compassionate support.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support to individuals with IDD and Autism, assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence.
• Implement ISPs, monitor health and safety, and support community inclusion.
• Document services and communicate with families and care teams.
• Deliver care in home and community-based settings with dignity and respect.
