Hope Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a full-time 40-hour position on the 2nd shift in Michigan. The DSP will support individuals to build independence across daily living, mobility, health management, and community participation while serving as a trusted part of the care team.

You will engage in crisis prevention, documentation, and collaboration with medical and behavioral professionals to ensure person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid State of Michigan driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to become CPR/First Aid certified.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and ensure safety 24/7; provide one-on-one support as needed.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Establish collaborative relationships with individuals served and the care team.
• Foster partnership with community and professionals to support independence.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities and mobility.
• Attend medical appointments and relay information accurately to the care team.
• Document care plans and progress clearly and timely.
