Hope Network in Highland, MI is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for 1st shift (40 hours) to support individuals in building independence and community participation. This on-site role focuses on safety, daily living activities, and meaningful engagement.

Responsibilities include monitoring safety, assisting with mobility and daily tasks, coordinating with care teams, attending medical appointments, and promoting positive behavior.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid State of Michigan driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Commitment to scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety 24/7 with various check frequencies.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Build trusting, empathetic relationships with individuals served and the community.
