Hope Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the 2nd shift in Fairfield, MI. This on-site, full-time role supports individuals in achieving independence through daily living assistance, community involvement, and personal development.

You will monitor health, aid transportation, manage activities, and coordinate with medical teams. A strong commitment to empathy, reliability, and teamwork is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• 2nd shift, full-time or part-time; weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety 24/7 via eyes-on or 1:1 checks.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Build trusting, empathetic relationships with individuals served.
• Help develop independence and problem-solving skills.
• Assist with daily living activities and community participation.
• Attend medical appointments and relay information to care teams.
