Job summary

Venture Community Services seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The DSP helps with daily living, accompanies to appointments, and supports participation in the community; paid training and benefits accompany the role.

Schedule is Sun & Mon 9a-4p, part-time 14 hours; pay is $17.50–$19.00 per hour with a $1000 sign-on bonus for full-time and $500 for part-time, plus paid orientation, CPR/First Aid, and MAP training.

• Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing and daily living activities.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments and community activities.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans, and adhere to safety and medical guidelines.
