Job summary

Venture Community Services is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to empower adults with disabilities. Schedule: Sun 8a-4p, Fri 2p-10p, Sat 8a-4p; 24 hours weekly. Pay rate: $17.50–$19.00 per hour with paid training and a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include advocacy, daily living support, appointments, and helping individuals participate in their community. Paid orientation, CPR/First Aid, MAP, and ongoing training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults with disabilities to promote independence.
• Assist with household tasks, meals, shopping, and daily living activities.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments, banking, and community activities.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans.
