Job summary

Venture Community Services is hiring a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes daily living support, transportation, and community participation, with paid training and opportunities for growth.

The DSP will advocate for clients, follow Care Plans, and assist with appointments, medications, and community outings. Flexible scheduling is required; full-time positions available with competitive hourly pay and a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to maximize independence.
• Assist with daily living tasks including home maintenance, meals, shopping, bathing and dressing.
• Accompany to medical appointments and help with banking and community activities.
• Administer medications and follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans.
• Follow medical guidelines and safety procedures.
