Job summary

Venture Community Services seeks a Direct Support Professional to advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them participate fully in daily life. Paid training is provided, along with a sign-on bonus.

The role offers a part-time schedule (Sat 9a-7p, Weds 3p-9p, Thur 1p-11p, Sun 9a-7p) with 36 hours weekly, and a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour. Benefits include health and life insurance, PTO, and more.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, personal care as needed.
• Assist with attending medical appointments, banking, and community activities.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and medical guidelines.
