Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background check and required training.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance (primary or secondary).
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings.
• Assisting with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, grooming, and transportation.
• Encouraging participation in social and community activities.
• Helping clients set and achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Documenting care, activities, and progress, and communicating with the care team.
• Supporting independence and advocating for client choices.
