Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, helping them live as independently as possible.

Ideal candidates are high school graduates, at least 18, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; flexible schedules and competitive pay start at $17/hour with paid orientation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful background check and required training are required.
• At least 18 years old and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings.
• Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities and goals.
• Document care, activities, and progress accurately and communicate with the team.
