Job summary

Venture Community Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals to empower adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will advocate, support independence, and assist with daily living activities in a compassionate environment.

Position is Full-Time, 40 hours per week, with a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour and paid training. A $1000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing and personal care.
• Accompany to medical appointments and community activities; help access community resources.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and medical guidelines.
