Venture Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living activities, advocate for independence, and help individuals participate in their community.

The role is part-time (30 hours). It includes paid training, a pay rate of $17.50-$19.00 per hour, and a $1000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff or $500 for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in caregiving or support roles preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Fluent English required.

Responsabilités

• Advocate and support adults with disabilities to participate fully in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, personal care.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments and community activities.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans as needed.
