Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will support daily living activities, accompany clients to appointments, and help them participate in community activities.

New pay rate: $17.50–$19.00 per hour with paid training. Sign-on bonus: $1000 for full-time, $500 for part-time. Part-time schedule includes Fri 2p-10p, Sat 8a-4p, Sat 4p-10p; 22 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them be active in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks: maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.
• Accompany to medical appointments, banking, community activities, outings; administer medications as needed.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans and goals; comply with medical guidelines.
