Job summary

Venture Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living tasks, accompany to appointments, and help participants participate in community activities.

Paid training, a 28-hour part-time schedule, and a sign-on bonus are included. The role requires reliability, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to respectful, person-centered support in a supportive team.

• Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history).
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, empowering them to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing and daily routines.
• accompany to medical appointments, banking, community activities and outings; follow plans and medical guidelines.
• Maintain certifications and follow agency policies and DDS regulations.
