Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with IDD in daily living tasks at home and in the community. You will support housekeeping, meals, personal care, and transportation while documenting care in the EHR system.

We offer flexible part-time schedules, paid training, and opportunities for growth within our IDEAL culture. Prior experience is not required, and on-the-job training is provided to help you succeed.

Formación

• Experience: entry-level, on-the-job training provided.
• Education: high school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge: basic housekeeping, basic nutrition, and safety protocols.
• Skills: interpersonal skills, attention to detail, dependability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care in the home of the individual and in the community.
• Assist with daily living tasks including housekeeping, meals, personal care, and transportation support.
• Help plan and organize the client’s schedule and activities.
• Document daily care activities and update the health system records.
